5 Makeup Tricks To Look Younger

By Anne Zimmermann

It is not a coincidence that i chose this topic, it is my birthday this week! Aging doesn’t bother me but looking old would. Luckily, I know a few makeup tricks to stay on top of it… Let me share them with you so that you can stay your fabulous self, regardless of your age.

1 – Face makeup
Stay away from powder foundation, it sits on lines and emphasizes the wrinkles. Instead, opt for hydrating makeup. Brightening and illuminating formulas look more youthful.

2 – Blush
To look fresh and healthy, use cream and dewy formulations with a bit of a sheen.

3 – Fill in your eyebrows
Hairs thin out as we age and grey hair are also in your eyebrows. Filling them in does not only frame your face, it also will give you a more youthful appearance.

4 – Line your Eyes
To look instantly younger, don’t skip the eye liner! A tight line of pencil liner along the upper-lashes will give your eyes a lot more definition. Sightly wing out the outer corner to give your eyes a little lift. Finish with a coat of mascara.

5 – Define your lips
Over the years lips become paler. Try using tones from medium rose to plum. If the border is fading, line the lips with a lipliner.
