Pamper Your Skin with Easy DIY Recipes

Is your skin looking tired or lacking luminosity? It may be time for a little pampering!

As the winter sticks around, the skin suffers from outside aggression such as wind, extreme cold, UV, and overheated, dry houses. It’s important to take a few minutes once a week to repair and regenerate your skin.

As many women struggle to find the time to book a spa appointment, here are a few easy, home made face mask recipes. With accessible ingredients, there will be no reason not to indulge.

♦ Lemon Facial Mask

This mask has both exfoliating and moisturizing properties.

Mix the juice from 1 lemon with 1/4 cup of olive oil and apply for 10 minutes. Rinse off with water.



♦ Oatmeal and Yogurt Facial Mask

Suitable for all skin types, you’ll love how rejuvenated your skin will feel.

1 tsp oatmeal

1 tsp plain yogurt

A few drops of warmed honey

Mix all the ingredients together; leave on your face for 10 minutes and rinse off.


♦ Egg Facial Mask

All you need is an egg–it doesn’t get easier than that!

For dry skin: separate the egg and beat the yolk.

For oily skin: lightly beat the egg white. For more anti-bacterial properties, you can add a couple of drops of honey and lemon juice.

For normal skin: beat the whole egg.

Apply all over the face and relax for 30 minutes.
