Makeup artists have the ability to change any face with just a few simple tricks.
Who really wakes up with gorgeous dewy cheekbones anyway?
If you don’t have the luxury to hire a personal makeup artist, there is good news, it is easy to achieve this look by yourself!
You only need 2 products:
– a matte powder (I like to use a powder 2 shades darker than the natural skin tone or a matte bronzer)
– a powder or gel highlighter
The first thing you need to do is determine where to apply the bronzer.
You can do this by sucking in your cheeks to find the hollows under your cheekbone. Now you can start applying the product into the hollow, it will create a shadow effect and make the cheekbones appear higher. Stop application about 1.5 inches from the corner of your mouth.
Apply a little bronzer under the hair line and under the jaw line as well. This will define your face.
Don’t forget to blend it in for a natural finish.
Then comes the highlighter.
I like to use a white illuminating powder first to bring the light back into the face.
Apply it on your cheeks, above the eyebrows, the center of your forehead, the bridge of the nose and the chin.
At night, you can try using a small amount of illuminating gel on your cheekbones and under your eyebrow arches, this will give you a nice glowing finish.
Finally, put a touch of blush to bring color back to your face and voila!
