Do you want to have shoulders like Cameron Diaz?

One of my favorite body parts are my shoulders.

I think that women with nice toned shoulders look more fit and sexy. Have you ever watched Oscars where you saw actress like Cameron Diaz or even Madonna in the beautiful gown come out?

Lately there was a lot of talk about the First Lady Michelle Obama and her toned arms …

Every woman wanted to workout and get nice looking arms like that. Just look at her shoulders and you know she must be working out! You don’t even have to see any other parts of her body, but once you see those nice round shoulders and toned arms you know right away she’s putting some hard time into her training!

Well, today I can help you and show you a couple of exercises I never skip when training my shoulders.

Shoulder press – targets your front deltoids, middle deltoids and triceps!

First stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Brace your core!
Grab a pair of dumbbells with an overhand grip (10-15 lb for beginners)
Hold the dumbbells at shoulder level in front of your body.
Push both straight overhead and keep your back straight. Pause,  then slowly lower your body back to the starting position.

Repeat  12 times and do 4 sets!!

Side laterals – Works front and middle deltoid (mainly middle).
Stand tall, with your feet shoulder width apart. Your dumbbells should be hanging at arms length next to your sides ( use 5 to 10 lb. at beginning).
Your palms should be facing forward and your elbows should be slightly bend. Now, raise your arms straight out to your sides until they are at shoulder level.

You should pause for second at the top of the movement, then slowly lower your weights back to the starting position! Try 12 reps and repeat 4 times!

Hope you have as much fun building you shoulders as I do.

We're looking for writers who have something to say from all walks of life. Sometimes in life you just have to choose who you want to be around, etc... so, with that being said, please don't be afraid to send us your articles and we realize that we may or may not be ridiculed for "publishing" your article. However, know this: the only people that will mind if your writing is not up to "standards" are judgmental people who need to complain about something...anything. No one else will mind if your "article" isn't perfect. We sincerely don't want the types of people who criticize everything and everyone here anyways and we hope you don't either. Have a great day everyone!
