Father’s Day Gift Ideas

With Father’s Day around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what to get the dad in your life. Shopping for dad can get overwhelming, between the many options available and picking something just right to thank him. If you want to think out of the box and step away from ties, golf clubs or gift cards, we’ve compiled a list of a few suggestions that are out of the box and unique, just for any father (or father figure) in your life.

For the kid at heart: Why not buy him a toy helicopter or droid? Not only are they entertaining, but some even come built in with cameras for their viewing pleasure. It’s a great way to enjoy some time outdoors and keep dad occupied with something other than barbecuing or mowing the lawn.

For the outdoorsman: Think a new windbreaker or hiking backpack for the dad in your life. These are both great options, since they may be something that dad wouldn’t buy for himself. It’s also good to note that both come in many price ranges, so it can easily be modified to suit any budget.

For the travelling kind: If your dad is on the road a lot or does quite a bit of flying, a new travel tote or briefcase is a great gift option. There are so many awesome new brands and styles on the market, with lots of space in them and tons of cool features. It’s a perfect way for dad to be reminded of your love no matter where he is.

For the thinker: Does your dad love puzzles and using his brain? Why not look for a fun and unique puzzle or brain teaser to gift to dad. There are some really fantastic options on the market right now, besides your old school things like a Rubik’s Cube. Some even make for nice decoration on a coffee table or desk! Now that’s a gift that keeps on giving.

Of course, we always like to remind you that the best gift you can give is time. Spend some time with your dad, show him you care, and give him some attention and love.
