Most Anticipated Movies of 2015

I am a huge fan of film. Whether it be a foreign flick, a classic black and white, or the latest Oscar nominee, I love sitting down to a good movie and some snacks. This year, there are some fantastic movies set to be released. With a fabulous set of films from 2014, it’s hard to know what is going to succeed, and what will crash and burn this year. Tastes are ever changing, and the dynamics of film are constantly evolving so it is interesting to predict what is going to do well in movies for 2015. Here are my top anticipated movies upcoming this year.

Avengers: Age of Ultron – I am a huge comic book nerd and a lover of anything Marvel Universe, so this is definitely the most anticipated film for me. Following up to the huge box office hit is going to be a rough undertaking, but this franchise is no stranger to hits. The amazing cast, interesting plot and insane graphics are all huge elements of the anticipation.

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II – For a book-lover, this movie is very important for 2015. It will be interesting to see how well they close up this dominating series and whether they are able to wrap it up with justice. All of the other films have been quite successful, so I am interested to see if this one continues the pattern.

Tomorrowland: With a spectacular cast, Disney backing it up, and a theme park connection, Tomorrowland is set to be a hit this year. With both sci-fi and mystery at the base of the plot, it will draw a large audience of many ages and looks to be an extremely interesting journey.

Magic Mike: XXL – Of course, I am not in this for a deep plot or learning lessons. I am excited for this one solely for some good laughs and even better eye candy. A large group of attractive men dancing and joking is definitely going to draw a crowd; we’ll see how this one does at the box-office.

Black Mass: Based on a hit novel and filled with a stellar cast, this film looks like it’s set to hit theatres with some great expectations. The real-crime, true-life drama is sure to draw a variety of moviegoers with interest in history and showmanship. I am very excited to see how this movie turns out.
