Who likes Horror films?

To answer my question, I do.

I am a huge horror film fan. If you are a fan too, let me ask: what is the best way to get plenty of horror films? Well, I recommend the Toronto After Dark Film Festival, which will celebrate its eight anniversary this year. This is one the best film festivals Toronto has to offer. After Dark offers a variety of horror, action, sci-fi and cult films, which run the gamut from high-budget to no-budget, from all around the world. Not bad for such a small festival!

This year, for the first time, this festival takes place in Scotiabank Theatre, in the heart of downtown Toronto.

During this festival you get the chance to see all the other horror fans. In fact, I haven’t even mentioned the most exciting part! On the annual festival’s zombie appreciation night, you get to see the zombie walk, where you get to see all the fans dressed up as zombies and, what’s even more fun, you can dress up as a zombie too. I decided two years ago to dress up. I know it felt out of place on the way there, but when I got to the Bloor cinema, which was the home of the festival until last year, I found my zombie compadres craving brain! Although there are no brains to feed upon, but your horror film craving will be fulfilled, depending on your taste in different sub-genres of horror.

The festival begins on October 17 and runs through to October 25. For more information, you can go to Toronto After Dark Film Festival.

We're looking for writers who have something to say from all walks of life. Sometimes in life you just have to choose who you want to be around, etc... so, with that being said, please don't be afraid to send us your articles and we realize that we may or may not be ridiculed for "publishing" your article. However, know this: the only people that will mind if your writing is not up to "standards" are judgmental people who need to complain about something...anything. No one else will mind if your "article" isn't perfect. We sincerely don't want the types of people who criticize everything and everyone here anyways and we hope you don't either. Have a great day everyone!
